Beverly Osu Apologizes For Disgracing Nigeria,Blames Big Brother for her Videos [FULL GIST]
Last Thursday, at Protea Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Beverly Osu and
Melvin Oduah were presented to the media after a heroic welcome
back home.
The two ex-housemates recounted their personal experiences in the Big
Brother House. And here's what Beverly said:
In BBA House, the experience was awesome. Though it was
challenging, God really saw me through. It is something everybody
should look forward to participating in.
I don’t believe I was cheated during the grand finale. Housemates from
West Africa were not only united but, we dominated the House.
Whoever won the show really deserved to win. For me and Melvin,
having made it to the finals, we are equally winners in our own rights.
At least, we brought something home to show for our efforts.
Having sex with South Africa’s Angelo!
I did not have sex in the House. I had a relationship with Angelo Collins
but we did not have sex. I loved him and I still love him. I am a blunt
person and very real. People that knew me before BBA know that I
don’t pretend to be who I am. If it happens, you fall in love, you can’t
fake it. I did not have sex with Angelo.
I was under the bathtube, but we never had sex. Maybe, the camera
made it look so. Everybody gets naked to have their bath, so I don’t
think it is wrong for me to be naked when I have my bath too. There
was no way. I couldn’t be different because I went for a reality show.
So, I should not be judged by what people saw during the show since I
didn’t intentionally bring out my video for all to see. .Big brother did
that.
Winning strategy
I am a very blunt person. Melvin can testify to this claim because he
stayed with me for ninety one days in the House. I was only talking to
my fellow Housemates. And I don’t regret anythin I said about myself
and my family. This is because if I have to be on this platform, people
have to know the real me and what I have been through.
On her plans for the future
I’ll continue with my online reality show “Beverly Says” and I’ll
complete my education. I also intend to go into acting. I’m a 200 level
student of the National Open University of Nigeria, where I am studying
Mass Communication.
My mum’s reaction
My mum has tutored me very well. Even if the whole world rejects me
today, my mum can’t reject me. I love my mum so much. I’m her only
daughter and the last child in the family. I have always been there for
her, just as she has always been there for me. I will not disappoint my
mum intentionally by saying she this or she’s that…
Embarrassing Nigerians
I don’t feel happy about it because this is the first time, I represented
the country in any continental competition. But the fact remains that if
you didn’t go for it, you wouldn’t know how it’s in the House. I wasn’t
there with my cell phone to be able to communicate with the outside
world. I was just there alone.
I’m sorry for embarrassing my country. I didn’t do it intentionally. My
participation in the show was not to embarrass my country. I am a
proud Nigerian.
On featuring in a porn production by Afrocandy
I heard about it. Thanks for the offer but no. I participated in BBA to be
myself –
Melvin said:
On the experience
Considering that I and Beverly were chosen to represent the country and the
fact that we were in the House from the beginning to the end, made our
participation in the show remarkable. There are a lot of people who don’t
know anything about Big Brother. For me, I learned a lot of things while in the
House.
My journey
I contested for 2009 Gulder Ultimate Search, and I emerged the first runner
up.
I contested for Mr Nigeria in 2011 and again, I finished as the first runner up.
Now, I contested for Big Brother Africa-The Chase and also finished in
the fourth position. But I am not The Chase.
I think we can also take time to look at the positive side of the show. It is not
easy to participate in these major competitions and making to the finals. So,
I think I should be given some credit.
It is also painful when you have worked so hard to make it to the finals, only
to miss winning the ultimate price.
His future plans
I’m taking my acting career to the next level.
Winning strategy
Before I was chosen to represent my country, I was regularly asked what
winning strategy I would adopt while in the House. I kept repeating the same
thing “I was going to be myself and nothing else. The Melvin you meet in real
life was the same Melvin you watched in the Big Brother House. Nothing
about me was unreal or done to make people like me or hate me. I thank
Nigerians for voting for me . I will always be a proud ambassador of the
country.
Ese Walter Says Evidence Of COZA Affair Has Been Given To ‘Respected Man Of God’
According to Ese Walter’s latest blog post, the evidence of her sexual affair with Pastor Biodun has been deposited with a respected man of God.
The post:
About six months ago, I was watching a lot of Apple ads on YouTube and heard something that has never left me. You should watch the YouTube video, it’s truly inspiring. Here’s what I heard:
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in square holes, the ones who see things differently, they are not fond of rules and have no respect for the status quo.
They push the human race forward and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius because the people, who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
Do you love God? If yes, trust that it will ALL turn around for good.
Some people say, ‘I support you, you are brave and courageous’ and I wonder if those terms really define me. I do not think I am brave or courageous. I do know, however that after decades of sleepwalking through life, I am now becoming aware not just of myself but also of my environment, my world, and the universe.
Some say, put out the evidence and we will believe you. Hmmm, the morning I sat to write that post, I really didn’t expect anyone to believe me. Well, apart from those involved. And my motive was simple, let one more woman be spared. Let one more minister of the gospel be mindful and let the church rise up to its responsibilities as God’s legal representatives here in the earth realm.
A copy of the ‘evidence’ is with a respected minister of the gospel should the christian body decide to deal with this issue now and that becomes needful. I am not looking to have a ‘me against them’ case where I need to prove I’m right and someone is wrong. I am far from right, but I have used the only means available to me to free myself of the bondage I put myself in.
Lastly, to all the media people seeking interviews and whatever else mailing me, I have nothing more to say on this issue. I cannot reply every email as reading them is beginning to seem like a new job.
I remember asking a friend once while reading the book of Acts, “Why do we no longer operate in the power the disciples did in Jesus day?” What has changed? How do we ‘unchange’ it?
God is not mocked, if we serve Him, let’s serve Him. We cannot continue to grow as a Nation by oppressing, delaying justice, hating, having the ME ME ME mentality. As Martin Luther King Jr said, ‘no one is free until we are all free.’
Nothing has called out to me more than people, especially women, suffering in some way and hiding the pain. Whatever we cover doesn’t go away. It grows and it finds different outlets to rear its ugly head until we deal with it.
At the end of the day, we agree that ‘men of God’ are firstly men, right? This means it’s needless expecting them to help you in your growth with God. I fell into that trap of thinking a ‘man of God’ is equated to God and it is not new to find people fall in that hole.
How do you begin to learn to serve a God you have never seen? It takes another level of faith to do that but we live in a generation/Country where people don’t want to study for themselves. They don’t want to read the Scriptures. Well, they don’t want to read, period. They want to pursue things instead and have somebody do the praying and studying for them. If you fall in that category, you need to repent.
I learnt that when the veil was torn, we all were given equal access to the Father. No matter how long you may have been in church, if you don’t know what that means you better ask somebody. And seek a real relationship with the God you claim to serve.
My apologies to everyone this has affected in one way or another.
Firstly, my family: I don’t know how you guys aren’t sick of me yet
Secondly, ‘the body of Christ,’ my intention was never to cause trouble but to stop a rot I felt might spread and become worse if nobody spoke up about it.
Lastly, to those who said I shouldn’t blog again, I respect and understand your concerns but the truth is, writing is not just my gift, it is also my ‘curse’. I cannot ‘NOT’ write but I PROMISE, this is the last I will say on this issue except the christian body needs to see me.
“…forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Paul.
Cheers to the weekend people

Jonathan's Female Minister lavish ₦2billion On Private Jet
“We are of the view that Mr. President is not aware of all these atrocious and reckless spending of the minister. Usually, we understand that smaller presidential jets are usually assigned to ministers on official assignments abroad whenever there is need for such trips.
“Mr. Chairman, we make bold to ask in good conscience whether Nigeria’s fragile economy can afford to carry this financial burden any longer and that is why we are calling on you to act and provide the new lease of life for the Nigerian economy.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is being urged to probe how she blew the cash on chartered jets. The Minister was reported to EFCC Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, by a whistle-blowing group, Crusaders for Good Governance (CGG), on August 13.
In the petition, signed by its representative, Okechukwu Obiorah Nnamdi, the group said its alarm against the Minister was as a result of thorough investigation.
The group told EFCC Chairman that “We are calling your attention to a monumental act of corruption, abuse of office and reckless application of public funds by a minister.
“Our investigation has revealed that the minister has not only become a liability Nigeria cannot bear at this time, she has also become a huge source through which our nation is gradually bleeding to a slow and painful death.
“Unlike other cabinet ministers, who travel on commercial (and presidential where applicable) jets for official assignments, the minister has taken it upon herself to travel by private jets to all assignments.
“When the President visited China, she was on the trip but travelled in a private jet at the cost of $300,000. The same thing happened during Mr. President’s trip to South Africa; she also travelled in a private jet at the cost of $300,000.
Details of her other activities and unwholesome spending are listed below:
•During Easter break, she flew a private jet to Dubai with members of her family at the cost of $300,000.
•A parastatal maintains a private jet, Challenger 850 Visa Jet, at $500,000 monthly for the minister.
•She has never attended any meeting outside the country in commercial or presidential jets in the last two years and she has spent over N2billion on maintaining aircraft in the last two years.
•She is the only minister, who attends events when the President is travelling, in private jets. Unlike other ministers, she flies private jets even when the President is travelling to the same location.
•She does official jobs in her house; she hardly goes to office.
•Information from FAAN, NCAA, and NAMA confirmed that she has never flown commercial aircraft in the last two years.
•When the President went to China but she did not go on the presidential jet, she went in a private jet, further bleeding the national purse.
The group said its allegations could be verified through the records of aviation agencies, such as FAAN, NAMA and NCAA.
The petition added: “We demand that you carry out thorough investigation of all the above which are easily verifiable through the aviation agencies, FAAN, NAMA and NCAA.
“We want to count on you to save the national purse of the excessive bleeding, which we believe is the main reason for the establishment of your agency.
“We want to however state that our commitment to this cause will not waiver. We are still compiling and investigating further details of her financial dealings and at the right time, we will organise a world press conference to express these and other details we are working on.”
