8 Ways to Cure a Hangover!!!
First, understand that a hangover is caused
by more than dehydration—though it does play a large role. Your body
metabolizes alcohol into acetaldehyde, which is toxic to brain cells, says
Robert Swift, M.D., Ph.D., a professor at Brown University’s Center for Alcohol
and Addiction Studies. Another byproduct of booze breakdown is adenosine, a neurochemical
that dilates blood vessels in the brain and causes a splitting headache. Pile
on low blood sugar, a loss of electrolytes, stomach irritation, and
poor-quality sleep, and it’s no wonder you feel like feel like you’re the last
survivor of a Tarantino movie.
Don’t feel too shabby? You could be lucky;
studies suggest that 25 to 30 percent of people are virtually immune to
hangovers. That, or you might still be buzzed. It takes a full 8 to 11 hours
for your blood alcohol content (BAC) to hit zero after you reach the amount of
booze necessary to trigger a hangover. If you raged until last call last night,
take precautions now—even if you feel fine.
Follow these research-proven tips to fend off
your nausea, pounding head, and general hatred of life.
1. Don't Gulp Gallons
You’ve heard that dehydration is a major hangover cause, and it’s true. The problem: Too much water will only stretch out an already-irritated stomach, leading to (even more) nausea or vomiting. Instead, gulp 8 ounces of water every hour you’re awake after drinking, Dr. Swift recommends.
2. Pop the Right Painkiller
That’d be ibuprofen. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) can risk liver damage after a night of drinking. Because both acetaminophen and alcohol are metabolized by the liver, boozing disrupts your liver from fully breaking down the toxins in the pain pills, Dr. Swift says. And aspirin can upset your stomach.
3. Grab Gatorade
After a few cups of water, switch to a sports drink. “The extra salt helps your body absorb the fluids more quickly,” Dr. Swift says.
4. Brew Tea—But Don’t Drink It
Need to look presentable today? Steep black, chamomile, or green tea bags in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. After you let them cool, lie down and place a bag over each eye for 5 to 15 minutes. The tannins in the tea constrict blood vessels, pulling the skin taught to battle puffiness.

. Eat Oatmeal for Breakfast ...
When researchers gave breakfasts to hungover college students, those who ate slowly digestible carbohydrates, like oatmeal, performed better on mood and memory tests than subjects who chose simple sugars. To add protein and digestion-slowing fiber, stir a tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter into plain instant oats.
6. With a Side of Eggs
The amino acid cysteine might help your liver recover from the stress of breaking down alcohol. Egg yolks, yogurt, and poultry are good sources.
7. Meet with Joe
Caffeinated coffee will increase your alertness and ease the dilated vessels in your brain, says Frederick Freitag, D.O., medical director of the Comprehensive Headache Center for Baylor Health Care System in Dallas. Just limit it two one or two cups to avoid caffeine’s potentially dehydrating effects.
8. Get Busy
Distraction—whether that’s Rock Band, taking down holiday decorations, or working out—will take your mind off the hangover. It won’t solve anything, but you’ll at least feel better in the moment

Five seriously wounded in auto-crash in Akure
An auto-crash on Tuesday in
the heart of Akure, the Ondo state capital, has left five persons, including
two women, seriously injured.
The crash occurred at about 11
30a.m on Lafe Junction area on the popular Oyemekun/Adesida road.
Sources say a Nisan Sunny taxi
marked ONDO XB 800 KTP, reportedly lost control while on top speed and ran into
a mini truck marked ONDO XA 747 www, belonging to a furniture company,
packed by the side of the road.
According to eyewitness
reports, the severity of the impact pushed the truck over the kerb used to
demarcate the pedestrian walkways from the main road and over the drainage
channel.
Those injured including the
driver and a woman that sat in the front of the car were rushed by sympathizers
to the State Specialist Hospital while three others at the back including
another woman were rushed to private hospitals.
At the time of this report,men
of the Motor Traffic Division of the Akure Area Command of the Ondo State
Police Command were said to have towed the wrecked commercial cab off the road.
14 die as JTF, Boko Haram crash in Maiduguri
The Nigerian Army has disclosed that a gun
battle between men of the Joint Task Force and militants from the Islamist
group Boko Haram occurred in Maiduguri, Borno State on Tuesday, leaving
one soldier and 13 insurgents dead.
According to army spokesman Sagir
Musa, “At about 1600 hours (1500 GMT) today, troops of the Joint Task
Force Operation Restore Order had an encounter with Boko Haram terrorists at
Bulabulin and Bayan Quarters of Maiduguri. During the encounter the JTF lost
one soldier and two were wounded. Thirteen Boko Haram terrorists lost their
lives.”
Musa who said the operation against the Boko
Haram cell in Maiduguri was ongoing, revealed that three assault rifles, one
rocket-propelled grenade and large quantities of ammunition had already been
recovered.
“Civilians were well protected and have no
casualties recorded as a result of the encounter. The operation is ongoing to
apprehend the fleeing members of the gang and recover more weapons,” he added.

Man Dies On Christmas Day, Wife Throws Party A Few Hours Later
According to sources, the party was held on Christmas Day
just a few hours after the woman’s husband died. The woman, Nomasonto Zikhali
is said to have lost her husband, Khumbulani Ncube, who died on Christmas day.
Zikhali reportedly invited her friends and relatives to
join her in the party. Reports say Ncube’s relatives boycotted the party as
they condemned the move with all the contempt it deserved.
“Surely, how can someone do such a thing? She should be
taken for mental examination to ascertain whether all is still well in her
brain. We are all in shock. We were about to join her in her mourning but we
were left speechless after we heard music being played at a very high volume. I
asked another neighbor to accompany me there and we found her dancing
with some women and a few men,” said a source who spoke on condition of
anonymity.
The source said Zikhali was questioned about her
seemingly uncultured behavior by other neighbors and she
sent them packing. She reportedly said life should not stop because her husband
had died on Christmas Day.
“That woman is crazy. Even weddings do not go on if
someone close to the groom or bride dies. This whole Christmas thing is a
mockery of our values. I don’t think Jesus will be happy to see people soil the
values of humanity using his name,” fumed a neighbor.
The source said Zikhali’s in-laws were gathered at their
rural home and had decided not to involve her in the funeral proceedings.
“Who can blame them? I would have done the same if I were
in their shoes. What she did is unheard of. Maybe she is from another planet,”
said the source.
Our news crew caught up with Zikhali who by no means
resembled a woman in mourning.
“Let them talk. I am living my life. So are they telling
me that life should not go on after the death of my husband? They are getting
it wrong. I was not celebrating his death, but Christmas Day like all
Christians,” said Zikhali.
The widow, who was putting on a gleeful smile during the
interview further said she just wanted to relieve stress.
“I would have died of stress. A wife and husband dying on
the same day, what would have that been? Perhaps good news for the media. I
don’t care what they say. I know what I was doing and I am not going to sit
here and try to please some people who do not even care about my welfare,” said
the woman who lost her husband last week.
Zikhali said she was unmoved by the irreparable damage
between her in-laws and herself.
“No one knows what I am going through, so it will be best
for me to try and alleviate my stress by doing what makes me happy,” she said.

She also claims her boyfriend ecksell picks the tabs and has spent £25,000 pounds in one night in her words "When my boyfriend and I go clubbing, he goes crazy. Once he spent £25,000 in one night. Afterwards I told him that he might as well spend that on me" Edwin Newton aka Ecksell is a is a 22 year old rapper from West London in the UK who had a colourful childhood and has a music video HYPNOTIZED featuring female singer Sarah aka S.J. from Longfield.

Our disney princess claims she cant trek, use the tube nor buses, but drives her expensive SLK worth £30,000 round town shopping and can never enter primark. I looked into her profiles and the videos she either danced or modelled in according to the profiles dont even have her as a major character nor can we see it so glariing that shes even present in those videos but we can give that to her knowing there were a lot of girls in the videos.
In my own opinion GINA RIO has been modelling for a while, which therefore explains her many good looking pictures on the internet which may just have been one of her photoshoot while model job hunting. Even www.madnewsuk.com describes her fabulous life story as a " suspect article"
She only appeared in the Sun Newspaper UK, could they have been given false news by her?
