SALES of Kim Kardashian's infamous sex tape
have gone through the roof since boyfriend Kanye West announced they are
expecting a baby.
Vivid Entertainment, which owns Kim. K.
Superstar the video that shows Kim and R&B singer Ray J
romping in 2007 told TMZ that video-on-demand
purchases of the X-rated footage have spiked 80 per cent.
It's the biggest increase in sales since
Kim's wedding to Kris Humphries.
The marriage lasted just 72 days.
Overall sales of Kim's sex tape across
video-on-demand, online, or DVD have steadily increased every month since
Kim and Kanye started dating last spring.
Kim started seeing R&B singer Ray J in
2003 when Kim worked as a stylist to Grammy Award-winning singer Brandy, Ray's
sister.
He said of their affair: "She left her
husband for me as soon as we started having sex. We were like animals -
sexually free to try anything, and we did."
A minor star himself, Ray shot to fame in
early 2007 when the pornographic home video of the couple was leaked on the
web.
Kim sued distributors Vivid Entertainment for
ownership of the 2003 tape allegedly stolen during a house move but dropped the
suit in April 2007 and settled with the company for £3million.
Ray J claims Kim's clingy and overbearing
attitude led to their split in 2006.
He said: "She literally thought I was
cheating with every girl I ran across."
