The application for the inaugural edition of 2face Peace awards is now open for young people in Nigeria, application closes on 9th September 2013.
The 2FACE PEACE Awards is a unique peace building project that seeks to find and support local young and committed peace builders in Nigeria working at the frontline of conflicts in their communities.
The award recognizes the importance of equipping larger numbers of young people in Nigeria with peace building skills and understanding that will help them live more peacefully in communities as agents of change and hope. Winners will be selected and supported with financial grants to help them continue change projects in their communities. The peace award is part of the advocacy efforts of award winning artiste; Innocent Idibia (2face) aimed at promoting unity and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria.
Eligibility
To enter for the 2face Peace awards, you must
- be a young person , aged 18-35 years
- be undertaking peace building work in related areas for at least 18 months as at the time of this call
- Resident in Nigeria and
- passionate about Peace and Nigeria
